Het voldoet aan de strengste 2010 U.S. standaard voor motorslijtagebescherming. Het is compatibel met E85 ethanolbevattende benzine. Evolence is geschikt voor hybride auto's van Toyota, Honda en Lexus en kan worden ingezet waar GM dexos1™, GM 6094M of Chrysler MS 6395 is voorgeschreven.
